I can contact the cattery for an update on my cats's stay. Replies, including email updates are subject to cattery open times and staff availability.
Medications will only be administered as prescribed by a veterinarian.
Daily rates are charged per calendar day stay. 30% discount for long term boarders of 30 days or more.
Provision of premium food is included in the daily charge and is subject to flavour or brand change. No discount is given for owners who wish to supply their own food. Raw food is not accepted due to the inability to safely store onsite.
I have adhered to the vaccination protocols required prior to admission to the cattery.
Routine grooming is complimentary, de-mats and remedial grooming will incur additional fees
Payment in full will be made prior to collecting my cat. Any deposit paid is non-refundable, and a cancellation fee of 5% of the cost of my cats stay will be charged if I cancel this booking with less than 24 hours notice.
In an EMERGENCY Woodend Cattery will endeavour to contact me, or my emergency contact, however they reserve the right to euthanise my cat if the veterinarian determines it necessary under the Animal Welfare Act 1999.
In case of an emergency euthanasia or an unexplained death I have the right to request a post-mortem either at RVC or with my primary vet, this may incurr additional costs.
Woodend Cattery reserves the right to make suitable arrangements for any cat left in their care 14 days after due collection date, if no contact has been made by the owner or emergency contact.
If my cat is found to have parasites present it will be treated and I will be charged accordingly
Woodend Cattery will endeavour to contact your or your emergency contact as soon as possible. To assist with the decision-making process, please select from the following options:

I am a client of Rangiora Vet Centre and I am happy for my cat to be assessed by an RVC Vet.
I am a client of another vet clinic and my preference is that my cat is assessed by this clinic. I understand that it is not Woodend Cattery or RVC's responsibility to provide transport for my cat to attend this clinic and my emergency contact may be required to assist in this process. I understand that my cat's welfare is the priority and if it is not practical, possible or appropriate for my cat to be transferred to my clinic of choice, my cat will be assessed by an RVC vet.
Should your cat be transferred to RVC for emergency care, I agree to pay assosicated costs for vet treatment, pain management and preservation of life where possible, or euthanasia, in accordance with welfare guidelines, until such time as I can be contacted. This should not be more than 12 hours, but may be less depending on my cat's condition.
